Lord Jesus, on the cross you emptied yourself, pouring out your

very life as love. Your love heals, forgives, makes whole. By

walking the road to Calvary with you, may I live your example of

unconditional love and in turn pour out my life in love for others.

Faith and obedience are travel companions heading to the same "destination"--namely, to please and glorify the Lord. You cannot have one without the other. They grow simultaneously as they are practiced, but will wither if neglected.
